Ethics of Exceptions: Exceptions are not the right things to do when standards practices and guidelines are to be considered… they should never be written along the list of guidelines. They should be quoted as exceptions and only to be used during extreme situation and not otherwise. If exceptions are heinous they rather be not quoted. Because there is a likely hood of exceptions becoming a guidelines and standards. Also in some cases exceptions vary from place to place and from situation to situation.

If heinous exceptions are to be committed during extreme ethical dilemmas one must introspect and remove it from the roots. And not trying to overcome exceptions is extremely unethical. Also every case of exception committed must be scrutinized.

Always remember “prevention is better than cure”

Ensure the need for exception is eliminated by taking timely preventive measures. So, one does not reach to ethical dilemmas.
