Shivkar Bapuji Talpade who flew India’s first aeroplane in the air be included in school syllabus. Mr. Talpane flew an unmanned aeroplane in the year 1895 at Chowpaty, Mumbai, India that is 8 years before Wright Brothers first manned controlled flight. But as a matter of fact the nation as a whole is deprived of this crucial information.

The unmanned airplane took off and flew to a height of 1500 feet. Important people like Mahadeva Govinda Ranade and H H Sayaji Rao Gaekwad were present during the flight.

Hence we request the “Indian Department of Education” to take note of this vital information and include the same in our syllabus in an appropriate manner.
